BIO:

Copper is a beautiful dachshund mixed with bulldog.  His daddy was a dachshund and his mom was a bulldog. He was surrendered to FDR with his siblings because the owners wanted to ensure they received great furever homes.  Copper is sweet and loving and is a little shy.  He will need a little time to warm up to you.  Copper is a puppy who needs a lot of attention. He needs to be in a home with someone who can spend most of their time with him because he needs to be let out frequently.  Copper is not yet housetrained as he is just a puppy. He loves to play and gets along well with other dogs. Because he is a puppy he is teething and likes to chew on everything.  Copper will only be placed in a home that has the time and experience to train and care for a puppy.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
