My name is Cowboy. I’m a sweet 7 month old boy. My family kept me in the backyard and in the laundry room. When they moved they weren’t able to take me. I’m learning how to be loved and how to be with a family. I get along with other dogs. I love to sit in laps and be held. I also like to sleep in the big bed and snuggle.

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
