BIO: Rosie came from a hoarding situation in Tennessee along with several of her siblings. She has worked hard to overcome her fear of people and is a whole new dog than the one that came into rescue. She adjusted very quickly and loves the attention from anyone who will give it to her once she gets to know you and warms up to new people.
Rosie loves to go for walks and she has been learning very quickly how to respond to basic commands. She does not do well with a harness and will chew through it to get out of it. Rosie is currently being trained on a martingale collar which she is unable to chew or slip backwards out of. She is a work-in-progress when it comes to house training but that too is coming along very quickly. If she is kept on a schedule she will do just fine.
Rosie is very playful and loves to go outside and looks forward to playing with her tennis ball. She is still a bit cautious of people but has made huge strides to overcome her issues and would make a wonderful family pet. If you think Rosie would be a great fit for your family please fill out an adoption application today!
