BIO:

My name is Tenly now but when I first came into rescue with my siblings I was named Margaret. I respond well to my name Tenly and will come when called. I am still a puppy so I have tons and tons of energy! I really need to have a fenced yard to run and play in because I need to exert all of my energy before bedtime. I also need to have a playmate because I love other dogs. Don’t get me wrong, I love people too but having a canine companion would be best for me. Also, please keep lots of toys and chewy Kongs around for me to keep myself busy. Oh and did I mention that a pool is a must! I’m totally fine with a plastic kiddy pool, those are my favorite because I can splash around and jump in and out easily. And I love to be sprayed with the hose! I can catch the water in mid-air too! I am so talented; at least that’s what my foster mom says.

I also get to have playdates with my sister, Elly. She comes over every week and we play and play and play. Did I mention that I LOVE to play??? I could tell you again if you want to hear it! Okay, foster mom told me to wrap it up with the Play talk and continue my story. So here it is..

I was adopted into a wonderful family about 6 months ago. I had two brothers and I loved them so much. Unfortunately they had to return me because dad lost his job and they weren’t going to be able to afford to care for me anymore. They were scared of losing their house and it was not a good situation for anyone. They wanted to make sure that I would be safe and find a good home that would love me furever and so they had to return me. It was very sad but I’m back at my first foster home and have been reunited with a couple of my siblings for playdates and that is so much FUN! I’ve even been reunited with some of my cousins too!

I am almost a year old; my birthday is coming soon and I can’t wait. I am full grown now and am crate trained, housetrained, and leash trained. I have a healthy appetite and am current on all my vaccinations and heartworm preventative. I have beautifully clean teeth and a fantastic smile too. My furever home needs to have a fenced yard for me to run and play in and another medium sized dog (or larger) for me to wrestle with and play. Kids are a plus because I am kind and gentle with them.
