BIO:
GOOD GOLLY MISS MOLLY!
Molly is a spunky 10 year young female dachshund with the energy of a puppy! She is currently being fostered with other dogs (large and small) and really loves them! She is very good at sharing space, toys and food with other dogs. Molly would also do well as an only dog with a stay at home mom or dad but she needs companionship. She is very much a velcro-dog where she likes her humans and wants to be with her human at all times.
Molly is still looking for her furever home and has been adopted and returned twice. We are looking for a home that can deal with her energy and give her the attention she desires. Molly is very loyal and loving and her foster mom says she is a great girl. She is housetrained but this is a recent phenomenon so some accidents should be expected until she learns your routine. A home with a fenced yard is best for her to keep her trained because it's easy to let her in and out to do her "business". She is very smart and will learn quickly if you keep her on schedule. If you are interested in adopting Molly and giving her a final furever home please visit our website and fill out an adoption application today!

We encourage adopters from all over Northern California and the Greater New England Area and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $60.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law. Thank you for supporting a dachshund in need.
If you would like additional information or have any questions, please feel free to contact the foster family directly. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
