BIO: 
Tolku is wonderful with other dogs.  He’ll chase the cats on occasion, but for the most part, ignores them.  He’s a shy dog, but once he gets used to you he’s a snuggle bug. Prepare to have him in your lab as you lounge on the couch and by your side as you move through your house.  He’s housebroken for the most part, with a few accidents here and there.  He loves walks, running around in a fenced yard and car rides.  He knows how to sit on command, but will run off if he is startled.  Taking it slow with him is a must.  He’s unsure of children, but is not aggressive at all.  He’s never growled or snapped at anyone or anything.  Tolku, with his adorable ears, would be a wonderful addition to a home that already has a dog and willing to give him some extra TLC.

We encourage adopters from all over the Greater New England Area and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $60.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
