BIO:

Zoey was surrendered to Furever Dachshund Rescue because her owner was no longer able to care for her.  Zoey is a beautiful silver dapple and a tiny bundle of fun! She is lovey and very protective of her people. She absolutely loves going for walks but is not so fond of rides in the car. She is content cuddling with her people rather than sleeping alone, she will follow you wherever you go to ensure that you know she loves you and so she can protect you! Doesn’t matter if it is another dog or vaccum, she has your back! She has a healthy appetite and is slowly learning to sit. She is eager to please and a rub on the belly make her day! She must go to a home with other dogs.  She is really dog dependent.  She gets along with other dogs, male or female and enjoys the company of all family members, regardless of sex or stature. She will make a great addition to any home!  Please give Zoey a furever home!

We encourage adopters from all over the United States and will do our absolute best to accommodate you in arranging for transportation if you choose to adopt a dachshund from FDR. If your dachshund of choice is coming from a state other than the one you reside in, there will be an additional $40.00 Health Certificate Fee that is required by law.
