RogerDodger - RI
Roger has been a great addition to our family. He is a ton of fun to play with and when play time is over he loves to cuddle. His favorite spots are always under the covers. Paddington is still a little wary of him but I feel like he is slowly adjusting and has even let Roger sleep with him twice so far (I was able to get a picture of it which I attached!) In the mornings he races around the house like a bullet, it is hysterical. We have also started brushing his teeth regularly and he loves it, actually he will let you clean pretty much anything on him (feet, ears, etc.) and seems to enjoy it all. We have started to train him in the basics (sit, down, stay) and looks to be a fast learner. I am so happy to have him and love him so much, as does everyone else in my family. Fondly, Maureen and Family

Rosie - SC
We adopted Rosie thru Furever Dachshund Rescue on August 20, 2011. We had worked with Dee Ann for several months trying to find a good fit for our home. We have two cats and we needed a dog that would be tolerant of our cats. Dee Ann was great about trying to find us the right dog. Not the "perfect" dog, because there is no such thing (even though Rosie is pretty darn close) . Rosie was 12-14 weeks old when we got her. A elderly gentleman had purchased her from a breeder when she was about six weeks old. Shortly after, he passed away and his family took Rosie. They did not want a dog inside so she was put outside all the time. Fortunately someone told them about Furever Rescue and they surrendered Rosie. She stayed with her foster mom for about 3 weeks before we adopted her. Her foster mom was SO helpful with potty training and obedience training as well as answering all of my questions and concerns. I cannot recommend Furever Dachshund Rescue enough!! We cannot imagine what we did before Rosie. She is the center of our house. My husband and I spoil her rotten. As bad as it may be, Miss Rosie sleeps with us each night. She loves to play and has so many toys. She has done wonderful with potty training. We take her outside on a regular basis but it has been well over (3) months since she has had an accident in the house. She is very smart and very well behaved. Rosie has found a family that loves her dearly and she loves us. She confirms that by those sweet, sloppy kisses she gives and we just welcome them and pray that we have many, many years of her sweet kisses.
